Biography
Yuan Hua is a professor at Tongji University. In 2003 and 2005, she won the third prize and second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award respectively. In 2021, she won the honorary title of National Model for Women's Meritorious Service. Mainly engaged in research on the application of degradable polymer materials, biomedical materials, polymers, and polymer-based composite materials, she undertook or served as the main researcher for the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) fund, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Support Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Shanghai projects, and enterprise projects.
